3 Benefits of Goal Setting

The Webster's dictionary definition: something that you are trying to do or achieve: the end toward which effort is directed: aim.

GOALS

Goal setting is an essential task that will help you in achieving all that you set out to do. In journal writing your vision, you will see the progression year by year, month by month, week by week, and day by day. This evidence inspires you the more to continue not only to write the vision, but to stay consistent with it. Coupled with action steps your goal setting efforts will take you a long way as you pursue your path to purpose.

Here are 3 Benefits I have experienced in Goal Setting:

1. Increased Motivation: consistently setting goals has given me the drive to accomplish much, not just for myself, but for others as well. It's such a passion that burns within that causes you to continue day in and day out. Living in this zone even interrupts sleep some nights.

2. Knowledge on how to bounce back from Failure: failures will come, but at those times that is when resiliency will kick in! Being disciplined in overcoming failures is one of the key elements in achieving goals.

3. Resources will become available: I can not tell you the countless times I met the right person at the right time for what I stood in need of. I mean God put what I needed right in place! Know that you will have all suffices when you need them.
