Are You A Doer?

Be a Doer!

But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves. 
(James 1:22)

Having desire alone will not get anything accomplished for God’s kingdom or glorification. We have to take having a Godly desire a step further by adding Godly actions. Hearing the Word grants us the opportunity to know the Word of God’s commandments for believers, and receive faith to trust God’s promises to us. After we have heard the Word we must then do what is instructed for us as believers to do. We hear to know and know to do. The importance of doing what we hear is so we are ever mindful of who we are in Christ, our authority/power we possess, and what attributes our lives should display as we represent Christ in the earth.

Pray for a continual fervent desire to please God and do His Word, which is His will, which does please/glorify Him.

**God can work with desire followed by a willing heart to do!
