Count Up the Cost!

No Pain, No Gain!

And whosoever doth not bear his cross, and come after me (Jesus), cannot be my

disciple (follower). Luke 14:27

As we make the decision to give our heart to Christ and follow Him, we are admonished to count up the cost. Consider all that is needed to not only enter the race, but also run the race and make it to the finish line. Not only finish the race, but also finish it with being a Victor. 

One of the essentials we must have is a surrendering totally to God. In surrender, we must give up our way and do things God’s way. Basically, self-denial to worldly lust will bring us into self-discipline with Jesus Christ. Before entering this race count up the cost to be sure you have what you need to finish. This would be a made up mind, willingness, and being a doer, not hearer only.
