Day 13 - Worship that Pleases God (2)

I've read day 13..... And I have always stood firm on my own personal relationship with God. I came up on a Pentecostal environment. Which was very strict. And by the time I was an adult I was totally turn off with church. I stopped going but I never stopped talking to God. I wasn't paying my tithes at church but I did other things like giving back to my community or contributing to those around me in need. So for me I'm still giving back just not by the laws of the church. I know that I need to dedicate some time to gathering amongst saints and I am asking God to lead me to a true church where I can feel comfortable and actually get something out of the service. God is my friend. We talk all the time and I have no fancy words or scriptures when we talk. I talk to him like I would talk to my friend. And I simple sit back and I don't move when I'm waiting on an answer. I don't run to the alter, even though I'm sure that's where I NEED TO BE! LOL!

I've always felt like my relationship with Christ is so personal and direct and it works for me...
