The world's view of things is backwards, upside down and out of sorts in comparison to God's view.
What is your life- James 4:14b(NLT) says that our life is like the morning fog- its here a little while, then it's gone.
While God wants us to be successful and plan ahead, He wants us to put Him first in everything. Without the leading and guidance of God, we will have far more disappointments. For example, my life at a time had consisted of low expectations, no to low priorities and fulfilling relationships. I had been merely functioning and existing. I allowed myself to be a victim of everything that didn't go well or right in my magical, magnifying, magnificent mind. I was just going through the motions, emotions and shemotions of me, myself, and I. My life had no purpose because, I didn't have a genuine and intimate relationship with God.
In order for us to truly know what our life consists of because He created us for His purpose-(Colossians 1:16 NLT for through him God created everything in the heavenly realm on earth. He made the things we can see and the things we can't see such as thrones, kingdom's, rulers and authorities in the unseen world. Everything was created through him and for him.) we must think right. (Romans 12:2 KJV- And be not conformed to this world but be you transformed by the renewing of your mind that you may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and Perfect Will of God). This means we must start thinking Spiritually, which refers to the fact that everything is given to us through the Cross that Jesus was nailed to and is obtained by Faith and not works. (Genesis 1:31a- Then God saw everything that He had made, and indeed it was very good) Everything God made is good; that includes us and everything we do is put to the test and finds that the thing tested meets the specifications laid down.
Verse to Remember: "Unless you are faithful in small matters, you won't be faithful in large ones." Luke 16:10a (NLT)
