Life is a Temporary Assignment
Compared with eternity, life is extremely brief.
Earth is only a temporary residence for us. We should not get too attached because it's temporary.We are visitors.
We need to ask God to help us see life on earth as He sees it. Remember, life on earth is only for a little while-Psalm 119:19 I am here on earth for just a little while.We don't know the day or the time when God will call us home. We need to make the best of it. While we as God's children will experience difficulty, sorrow and rejection, we need to keep focused on all things eternal. Earth is not our home; we were created for something much better-eternity.
Verse to Remember: "So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen. For what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal." 2 Corinthians 4:19 (NIV)
