Use What You Got

I am to do my best to present myself to God as one approved. Ask Him for guidance, direction and wisdom. Correctly dividing the word of truth, is essential for understanding. Too often I have inquired of my purpose to no avail.

I want to be everything to everyone, that needs something.

I used to say I have more than one gift, now I realize it is a desire 

to be more, to do more, but that would only fulfill my glory. It is God who must receive the glory, allow Him to do His job.

S.H.A.P.E means allowing Spiritual gifts to abound from your Heart, using your Abilities,Personalities, and Experiences. I kept looking at this word, allowing it to go over in my head. Having inquired I realized all too often I am too proud to ask for help. Thinking I will look stupid,and I do. It pays even when reading the Word to start at the beginning of the chapter, to get a clearer understanding. Make a list,ask for help,inquire of the Lord.

 I have a big heart, but no abilities. My personality fluctuates daily, one day I may be an introvert, the next day an extrovert. My experiences are shared,  mostly with my inner circle.I have been told that I have a lot of patience, I have also been told I have no patience.

My gift is giving. God furnishes me with the things I am to give, He gets the glory,whether it is money,time,or patience. When I am reluctant or fearful in obedience, I tell myself God deserves my best. God wants me to use what I have!
