Successful people are known to handle stress well, due to the fact they have mastered handling their emotions. We all go through stressful times in life and being able to handle these times is key to living a healthy productive purposeful life.Do a brief stress test below:
- How does your body react to stress? Heart palpitations? Anger outbursts? Depression? Pain? Digestive issues? Rash decision making? Isolation? etc.
- After pinpointing your reactions, take the time to work through them in a positive way.
- What are some stress triggers you are aware of? work? school? relationships? finances? worrying? etc.
- Are your stress triggers something you can control? If not, do you feel professional help should be sought.
- Take time out, evaluate your stress triggers and reactions, then pray to God for direction on how to handle and alleviate stress from your life.
