Be Commited

Commitment defined in the Webster's dictionary: a promise to do or give something; he attitude of someone who works very hard to do or support something

The focus on last week was "Being Committed". To truly be a disciple of Christ we must be committed. This takes place by denying our flesh (the sinful nature), taking up our cross daily (daily striving to live for Christ), and following Jesus (being a true disciple). We want to do more than be involved in our Christian journey,we want to be committed. Being involved requires active participation when you choose, but being committed requires you choosing to make the sacrifices to complete the task at hand.

To Be Committed:
  1. You must have the desire, a made up mind
  2. You must count up the cost
  3. You must stay and keep your focus
